BIOGRAPHY

Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Kean Long Lim is a senior research fellow at the Fuel Cell Institute, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (the National University of Malaysia, UKM), since 2008. Dr. Lim holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering (specializing in solid-state hydrogen storage materials) from the University of New South Wales, Australia, obtained in 2014. He completed his Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (Hons) in 2007 and Master of Chemical Engineering in 2008 at UKM. Additionally, Dr. Lim is a registered Professional Technologist with the Malaysia Board of Technologists.

 

Dr. Lim's research interests lie in two key areas: (i) advanced energy materials and (ii) process system integration and optimization related to biomass, hydrogen and fuel cell technologies. Throughout his career, he has actively collaborated with researchers from Australia, China, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and Japan, fostering international cooperation.
